LUSH's Tea Tree Toner Water

Prior to buying this, I have never used a toner before. It just never really appealed to me as something I truly needed. I didn't think my pores were extremely noticeable or anything like that... but I do have the tendency to get little acne spots now in then. Prior to this, I had also never tried a LUSH product before and I have to say, this little bottle of amazingness has roped me in to the LUSH hype.

At the time of buying this, I was in need of some major skin therapy. I had a lot of dark spots due to previous acne bumps. So I did what I always do, search the internet for recommendations and reviews. Then I came across one blog review of LUSH's Tea Tree Water Toner (I forget the blogger, sorry). So I went on LUSH's website and looked at the description for it:

"Oily, dull, tired and spotty skin brightens up with a routine spritz of Tea Tree Water. Antibacterial tea tree, juniperberry and grapefruit waters keep skin clear of blemishes and balance skin tone. Light and refreshing Tea Tree Water reduces redness and clears excess oil without drying so you can put your best face forward."

That first sentenced, at the time, described my skin perfectly: oily, dull, tired, and spotty. And when I saw the word "brightens", I knew that maybe it could help me brighten up my dark spots. So soon after, I went to the my local mall, found a LUSH and purchased the smaller sized bottle (3.3 fl oz) which was around $10.

The first time I ever spritzed it, which was after removing my makeup, it felt so refreshing. But of course I can't judge a product solely on how refreshing it is on my face. I kept using it for the next couple of days in the morning before putting on my makeup and at night after removing it and at first, I didn't really notice a difference. But then, I realized something. For as long as I could remember, when I wake up early in the morning, my face always feels oily. I suddenly realized that whenever I woke up in the morning after using the toner, my face never felt as oily compared to what it usually is like.

I usually have oily/combination skin, so sometimes I get dry spots-- especially around my mouth. I noticed that with continued use of the tea tree water toner, the dry spots eventually went away. The dry spots around my mouth were also darker than my skin and I noticed that also with continued use, the dark areas around my mouth weren't so dark anymore.

Alright this post is getting a little long, lol, so I'm going to wrap it up: I love this toner! It's not only refreshing, but treats my dark areas, and balanced my skin to be not overly oily but not over dry either. And now, I'm almost out of the stuff and I need to buy some more ASAP.

Have you tried this product or want to? Did it work for you?
